Naomi is no longer teaching private lessons. She now teaches K-5 music full time at Monmouth Elementary School!

Beginning Guitar with Shirl Bristow:
A well rounded approach that prepares students for continuing musical study in any genre. The method covers instrumental technique, melody, chords, and rhythm, reading tab and standard notation. Shirl uses My First Guitar Book, by Mike Christiensen. Students will need a properly sized, nylon string guitar. All materials are available at Gracewinds Music.

We believe that music is for everybody, so we have extended our sliding scale option with the intention of being able to offer private music lessons to a wider range of students. You may choose to use our standard rates (listed below) or feel free to pick a price that better suits your budget!
Standard Rates: (for lessons once a week)
30 min- $120/month
45 min- $160/month
60 min- $200/month

Event Music:
Valley Violin & Guitar provides music for weddings in the Willamette Valley and beyond. We are an acoustic/classical/folk duo with a wide ranging repertoire: from traditional and classical arrangements to Beatles songs, fiddle tunes, rock, pop and jazz arrangements, original compositions, and special requests. Naomi provides friendly and attentive customer service as you plan the music for your big day!

Rates:

Wedding Ceremony Package: $350- includes prelude music, ceremony music, and postlude music (aproximately 1.5 hrs of playing time).

A travel fee may be added depending on event location.

Local Wedding Special: For weddings in or near Corvallis. 1hr of playing time (prelude, ceremony, and postlude): $250. Plus no transportation fee.

Prices include $50 fee, due at time of booking, which guarantees your date in our schedule and pays for music coordination services leading up to your event.
